Rally Towel Reyes

Man, what an exciting game last night against the Padres. If only it had ended in a win! Still, it could be a productive loss–the team continues to fight.

But for now, a moment of rally Reyes revelry. After scoring the tying run in the 9th, Jose Reyes had a bit of fun with Ruben Gotay:

I’ll say I’m very glad Delgado didn’t strike out after Trevor Hoffman intentionally walked Beltran. I will take a walk from a batter in a slump. Come on, Carlos D. Get comfortable again. We need you.

Finally, I’ll leave you with this adorable Little Mazz bobblehead, given out earlier this week at Keyspan Park in Coney Island. The "L" on Little Lee Mazzilli’s batting helmet stands for Lincoln High School, his alma mater. Shout out here to my mom and grandma–also Lincoln High graduates. Mom grew up across the street from her and Mazz’s high school. Go Lincoln, and go Brooklyn!

I think it would be great for the fans to start a chant every time Jose gets on base…GO…GO…GO…GO Maybe he doesn’t know how excited the fans get when he is running and it also might help him get to 100 steals for the year.
